The government of South Korea through Korea Institute of Science & Technology has plans to bring robot teachers to the classrooms. About 400 pre-schools will be given robotic teaching assistants by the year 2012 and will be doubled the following year. more »

We haven’t featured a lot of robots lately. We have the Cooky robot now to more than entertain us. This one actually can make a soup for you. The robot doesn’t really work automatically like any real robot because you still need to label the ingredients and program temperature and cooking time.
