WiFi Direct launches WiFi Alliance, router-less WiFi access

There’s a new technology that would allow people to access the Internet even without the router. This one works the same way as Bluetooth so you could connect to printers, computers, cams, and mobile phones.
Called as the WiFi Alliance, this new WiFi Direct offering will start to certify devices by 2010.
