TIME says Youtube biggest tech failure. Bah!
When a popular magazine like Time calls a website like Youtube, the biggest tech failures of the past decade, you cannot help but choke on the stuff that’s in your mouth, and ask TIME to try and keep up with the tech world a little before writing such stuff up.
Apparently, there are about 20 hours of videos being uploaded on Youtube every minute, a 300 per cent increase from the time Google purchased Youtube. At that time, it was 6 hours worth of video! Damn.
Sure, Youtube isn’t Google’s most profitable business (well, it doesn’t quite make Google much money yet), but then something with that much power on the internet can be a money-tap anyday. And that’s like to happen reasonably soon, with ESPN and other biggies (also Hollywwod Studios) hoping to use it as a movie distribution and marketing platform.
So well, TIME, you need to get some TIME off, to get your tech knowledge updated on TIME!
