ASUS debuts U laptop series
ASUS just introduced a new series of notebook computers and called it the U. The U laptops look a lot like the MacBook Air from Apple because of the thinness. All three new models are based on the Consumer Ultra Low Voltage of Intel.
The 13.3-inch UX30 is the thinnest at 0.9-inch thick and weighs only 3.5 pounds. The U20A12-inch is equipped with 1.2GHz Celeron M, the 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo for UX30, and 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo on the UX50V.
Other specs of the laptops include WiFi, LED-backlit screen, up to 500GB HDD, Bluetooth, and up to 4GB RAM. Pricing and availability are still unknown.
