Many children 15 and above own mobile phones

April 27th, 2009

Texting by you.Teenagers aged 15 and above are said to own mobile phones. About 90 percent of Australian children were discovered to own cellphones at such a young age according to a recent poll by Australian Communications and Media Authority.

It’s not really surprising since children above 15 are somewhat responsible. Kids around those age are already in highschool and are expected to use their mobile phones more responsibly than the younger ones. Parents give their children phones to communicate with them and know their whereabouts.

Now, my only question is, at what age did this children start owning cellphones? Care to share parents?
