Ford and Sprint to offer wireless broadband for trucks and cargo vans

March 25th, 2009

Ford 3G Dashboard by you.Sprint and Ford have recently partnered to officially connect Ford trucks to the former’s broadband network over 3G. The F-Series of Ford trucks and the E-series cargo vans released this year are expected to be loaded with Internet.

The vans are meant for construction workers so the mobile wireless broadband network by Sprint will surely help them with their jobs. Not much details on the specs and how it would be possible but apparently, on-screen dashboards will be installed.
