Veranda Solar: Green yet pricey

March 12th, 2009

Super-easy solar panels by you.Going green is in but let’s face it, it’s not really that cheap. Most eco-products are sold at a higher price so this is clearly not the option for most people.  Companies should think more of  producing inexpensive green and solar products that people could afford.

Veranda Solar here could be a nice try but the $400 price tag is just too high. It’s cheaper yes but I don’t think people will spend that money on something that small. Besides, it would take some time before they get a return on investment and with the current crisis, I know people will just have to forego of this one.

It’s good to know though that green geeks have a choice now with something they could install in their own homes.
