LG to stop producing Plasma TVs soon?

February 27th, 2009

Following VIZIO and Pioneer to exclude Plasma TVs from their HDTV lineups, LG might also say goodbye to it. Soon, Plasma TVs will become obsolete and will be overshadowed by newer television and display technology.

If the LG rumor is true, that means Hitachi and Panasonic will only be the ones producing plasma TVs. That is, if they don’t stop production soon. But with the company sales, gadget spending, and the economy going down, I’m sure either one of them will announcement something similar too.
