GSMA MWC 2009: Mobile Peer Awards winners announced

The Mobile Peer Awards is now over and five winners from the list we featured before have been announced. About 163 startups have been reduced to 42 but was further down to 20.
Among the 20 startups, only five where chosen as the big winners. They are as follows as listed by TechCrunch:
- Babajob - MobileMonday Bangalore. Startup that connects informal sector workers like cooks, maids, drivers, guards and employers in India.
- Orbster - GPS Mission is a platform for user-generated GPS games like scavenger hunts, historical timetravels, crime and mystery stories and guides.
- Unkasoft Advergaming - in-games advertising company aiming at Mobile.
- Fring - mobile internet service & community that enables users to talk, chat & interact with other fringsters™ and their online communities, from their mobile phones.
- PopCatcher - Their software records FM radio from the cell’s internal radio, separates the commercials and chat out from the songs and saves the songs on the handset as an MP3.
