Nikon to roll out D400?

December 16th, 2008

Nikon D400 DSLR Only a few days after the D3X announcement , Nikon is said to be releasing the D400 albeit still a rumor only.

The D400 is an obvious upgrade to the Nikon D300. Rumor has it that this DSLR will feature a 14.8 megapixel DX format CMOS sensor, up to 6400 ISO, movie capture up to 1080p 24 fps with stereo sound, auto-focus, and a 3-inch 9220,000 pixel LCD monitor.

I’d like to hear officially from Nikon if the vignetting control in-camera and super fast operation are for real.

Nikon D400 is expected to rule with a $2,000 price tag.

* New 14.8 megapixel DX format CMOS sensor effective 14.3 megapixel
