Malaysia Air to allow in-flight cellphone use next year

Malaysia AirAfter Virgin America announced they will be offering in-flight broadband service, Malaysia Air made an announcement that they will be allowing cellphone use in their Boeing 777-200 jets.

Next year, flight passengers will able to use their mobile phones, thanks to the AeroMobile’s satellite equipment.

Roaming charges will still be at the normal rate but passengers are requested to turn their phones into silent or vibra mode.
