World’s smallest DLSR: Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 now shipping

October 27th, 2008

The Lumix DMC-G1, said to be the world’s smallest DSLR at present will soon find its way to the shores of the US. This new cam which boasts of the new Micro Four Thirds technology will be available for only $800.

It’s a small and lightweight camera alright but this one works pretty well. Thanks to the Micro Four Thirds system that is said to eliminate the internal mirror structure usually found in DLSRs.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 will also be available in blue, black, and red.
