Looks like the internet is up here to surprise you again. But overall, this has been the month of surprises anyway, init? Be it the IFA, CTIA, TechCrunch50, DemoFall or whatever TechShow there has been in recent days, there’s always been things to make you realise the world is changing faster than you know.
So, now the latest good news is that you may not need a TV when you’re at work, especially if you’re there all the time, because A company called www.ffwd.com launched at DemoFall this week a personal remote control for navigating video on the Web. This one lets you subscribe to channels, and creates your own unique chanell that lets you enjoy all that you like. That apart, based on your movie preferences on netflix.com or amazon.com, or any of the other networking sites you boast so much on, it will suggest channels for you to subscribe on. Of course, you can use big screen TVs to enjoy this service.
Sigh, the more I go all about getting the latest in town, the more I realise what a vain effort it can be by next morning.
