Bionic woman now feels somthing on her left arm

September 13th, 2008

Claudia Mitchell by momentimediaClaudia Mitchell, the woman whose prosthetic left arms costs about $3.5 million recently made a discovery that she’s started to feel something. The scientists responsible for her left arm moved the nerves of her shoulder to her chest and seems like it’s working. The advanced prosthetic fitted on her back in 2006, two years after her accident, was said to be “wired directly to her” so she can move her arms and fingers like before.

Looks like the future of bionic technology is bright with this development. A few more years or decades from now, we might see people with bionic limbs and legs roaming the earth.
