Solar-power rickshaws to roam the streets in India

We recently said the earth will be filled with hydrogen cars by 2020. But before that, why not have solar rickshaws roam the streets first and see if they could be as efficient. In India, solar rickshaws are being planned to go mainstream. The area Chandni Chowk in India will be the lucky place where solar-powered rickshaws will be first seen.
Weighing about 210 kilograms, the solar rickshaw is expected to run up to 20 kilometers. Well, that’s good enough to tour the city for a few hours. Just pray that Mr. Sun will show itself and won’t disappoint you.
So is India going totally ‘green’ now? Totally.
