Asus to offer 20GB online storage to Eee users

August 11th, 2008

ASUS Eee StorageAsus recently announced that the company will be providing online storage for Asus Eee owners. The service will be called the Eee Storage and will feature up to 20GB of online storage.

Eee PC users will also be given free access to download almost 3,000 games and free software. The service was announced by Jerry Shen himself and even demonstrated it to a number of people as seen in the photo.

Asus is also expecting that the online storage expand to a full ’store’ and service. For some reason, I am reminded of the ‘Mobile Me’ failure. I hope it doesn’t happen to Asus.
