Geothermal power to effectively cool and heat homes
July 31, 2008
Modern houses nowadays should use Geothermal power both for heating or cooling. Especially now that gas and oil price hikes are affecting most countries, businesses, and people, it’s about time that we think of more ways to go ‘green’.
Alternative ways include using advanced technology that includes geothermal power to give electricity to the homes. Of course, such technology can be a lot expensive but it could be worth the money.
Both heating and cooling use the same basic geothermal principle. That is, fluids circulate through the grounds to cool the fluids. The cool fluid will cool the air via ducts, circulating through the house. Heating goes through the same process, only a compressor is used to increase the temperature as explained by GreatGreenGadgets.
