Besides the Segway here’s another way to get around the hightech way and drawing some attention: The Unicycle Transport Concept, designed by Regimantas Vegele. Sure, this is still a concept but has the potential of making it big if it would actually work …
The transporter has not been nicknamed yet but it works similar to the elliptical machine, only you get to move. You may look silly once you get on the pedal and move while your on the sidewalk, but at least you can stay fit.
