Sens Phone: Mobile phone for the blind

June 18th, 2008

If the blind can read, then they certainly make a phone call as well. That is, if the Sens phone, a concept phone for the blind man designed by Japanese Takumi Yoshida will not remain as that: a concept.

The Sens got a more distinguishable set of keys so the blind will know which key he is pressing. The sides are lighted and the phones come with different alert messages. It is notable that there is no display screen because there is obviously no use for it.

So what’s next? A mobile phone that allows the blind to text message would be awesome!
