AirRemote Software App: Turns your iPhone to a remote

June 18, 2008

The iPhone and the iPod Touch are perhaps two of the greatest breakthroughs in gadgets in recent years. And this year, Apple continues to amaze with the recent release of the 3G iPhone. .. Oh Steve Jobs, I wonder what Apple product you’ll introduce next? And specials thanks to the SDK and the developers using it, the iPhone or iPod Touch can now be used as a remote to control everything with the use of the AirRemote app.

The AirRemote is a software app that can program your iPhone or iPod Touch to work as a universal remote for your home. It should work with Global Cache GC-100 Network Adapter so you could turn on the TV or your audio system off with your Apple phone.

The software will not come free so be ready with your $100 and another $150 with the Global Cache Adapter. So that’s $250 off from your budget…even more expensive that the $199 iPhone itself.
