HightechCouture: Garments made especially for technosexuals
January 31, 2008
Clothing manufacturers recently designed garments that are made especially for technosexuals who can’t live without carrying all their gadgets with them. LA Times shared three garments that may interest those traveling technosexuals.
Scottevest Inc. 237D
This is a fashionable lightweight jacket boasts 33 pockets for storage of ipods, cameras, cell phones, and a little room for something more. I think though that 33 pockets are too much. 5 – 10 pockets are already enough for this 237D jacket. Nevertheless, this jacket is still a practical choice.
Nike Featherweight Utility Jacket
This is an ipod-friendly addition to the Nike sports apparel. This water-resistant jacket allows you to put an ipod on your sleeve so that you can easily control the gadget even while running. It can also be great if Nike would add a pocket for a cell phone too.
Koyono BlackCoat Surf
Water-repelling shirt-jacket is also a fashionable garment that has a cool feature of a small connector in the shirt pocket that allows you to control the ipod in a lapel control pad. Not bad.
With this addition to our garments, the marriage of fashion and technology is a welcome modification.
