Iris Recognition: The end of forgery

July 30, 2007

With more and more of your life falling between the pages of your cell phone, you can’t help but be worried about its security and wonder what would happen if all of it gets lost someday.

Well, you and me, the common people, can’t quite think of anything beyond maybe fingerprint recognition or voice recognition, but like I said earlier, if you want to know what’s innovation, ask the Japanese. True to that, the Japanese have yet again outdone our wildest imagination, by making Iris recognition their way of keeping their cell phones secure from misuse. Happening isn’t it?

Forgery becomes difficult you see. Well, I’m still waiting for the day when it becomes impossible. Untill then, let’s enjoy what the innovative kings have brought out for us this time, and well, let’s hope this technology becomes part of all cell phones worldwide, and doesn’t just remain the luxurious privilege of a select few.
